I love to educate my clients about WHY they should choose a professionally trained hollow needle piercer. 

• Hollow needles are sharp and contained at the speed of the piercer, allowing for a smooth penetration that limits any damage, while piercing guns are fairly blunt and are solid all the way through, causing damage to the surrounding tissue and cartilage. 
• Hollow needles, as well as other tools used at Studs By Saige are one time use products to ensure sanitation, and significantly decreases the risk of any infection and/or disease, while piercing guns are used several times without the ability to be sanitized at the proper temperatures, due to being plastic.
• Hollow needles ensure accuracy due to the piercer being in control, while piercing guns can lead to inaccurate placement.
